Co-Founder & Mentor
Donald is a volunteer with Aid & Abet. He was 14 when he was removed from the family home and placed in care for offending behaviour. This was the start of a journey that would lead to young offender units and then adult prison.
He is now a co-founder at Aid & Abet, working on Police Scotland’s VOW project. He has also been involved in the City of Edinburgh Council’s Turn Your Life Around and Police Scotland Choices for Life, Violence Reductions Units Edinburgh Tattoo and Community Justice Scotlands Tribal Home. He supports people who have found themselves caught up in the criminal justice system.
He’s sees the importance in building trust, having positive relationships, being a role model and giving hope.
