Mentor
Lorraine is our peer mentor in Glasgow working in partnership with the Positive Outcomes Project. Lorraine was involved in the criminal justice system from the age of 15 due to substance misuse, trauma and bereavement. In 2015, Lorraine linked with Tomorrow’s women in Glasgow where her recovery journey began. Lorraine then moved on to become a lead volunteer within the recovery movement in Glasgow gaining education and working on changing her behaviours and thinking but most of all helping others change their lives using her own lived experience.
Lorraine joined Aid & Abet in February 2019 and is currently on a secondment from Aid & Abet to the Positive Outcomes Project where she works alongside Police Scotland & Social work to help support individuals change their offending behaviour and live a new way of life.
