The VOW Project

The VOW Project – Police Local Recognition Award

The VOW Project is a Police Service of Scotland led initiative in partnership with Aid & Abet, with the aim of reducing offending and harm to people in Edinburgh.  Two of our peer mentors have been working with the VOW Project for four years, empowering young people involved in the Criminal Justice System to break their cycle of offending and by providing support to people deemed to be at significant risk of drug related harm.

The team recently won an Edinburgh Police Local Recognition Award in the Partnerships category for their work on Operation Threshold, a partnership initiative designed to tackle and reduce drug related harm and death in Edinburgh.
